Why we built Simpli, the people behind it, and the principles that guide every donation we move.

What an enterprise evaluates as waste can serve as a lifeline for someone in need. There is a massive opportunity lost when products are destroyed, not donated.

About Us

$163 billion of unsold products are destroyed every year. We knew there had to be a better way to deal with excess inventory than destruction — and there was, it just hadn't been built yet. So we built it ourselves: the first platform for companies to divert excess from landfills to good causes, all in a few simple clicks.

The loss is more than monetary. Destruction wastes the energy, water, raw materials, and labor embedded in every product, generates avoidable emissions, and diverts usable goods away from communities that could benefit from them.

With a client roster of global enterprise leaders, we've donated over $70 million worth of products to serve more than 4 million people nationwide — and we're just getting started.

Vision & mission

Vision

A circular economy where nothing usable is ever destroyed — where excess flows to people, not landfills, as the default for every enterprise on earth.

Mission

Divert excess inventory from destruction to good causes — matched, moved, and verified in a few simple clicks — while being the most efficient excess solution for client companies.

Paying it forward,
built to last.

Longtime friends and work partners Teddy Raskin and Tommy Pennington co-founded Simpli with two things in mind: paying it forward, and helping companies optimize for an economy focused on sustainability and longevity.

Through creating and building Koacore, Teddy became the growth engine at Simpli, while Tommy's nuclear engineering background powers the technical precision behind every Simpli system. As they grew the founding team, the pair anchored on shared values — community, tenacity, and global progress — to build a lineup aligned on ethos and vision.

This group could've found themselves working anywhere in the world. Each chose Simpli's mission instead — with the sole intention of creating net-good.

COMMUNITY

Giving back is the core objective, not a side effect. What an enterprise evaluates as waste can serve as a lifeline for someone in need.

TENACITY

A better way to handle excess hadn't been built yet. So we built it ourselves — and we keep raising the standard, donation after donation.

GLOBAL PROGRESS

Every product saved keeps its embedded energy, water, and labor in play — pioneering the economy's evolution toward a circular model.
