Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Simpli Inc. (“Simpli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or interact with our public website at usesimpli.com, including www.usesimpli.com (the “Website”).

This Policy does not apply to the Simpli Platform at app.usesimpli.com, which includes GoodOS, client programs, nonprofit applications, and any other logged-in experience. The Platform is subject to a separate privacy policy, and information you provide or generate there is governed by that policy.

By using the Website, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.

Information you provide. We collect the information you choose to send us through the Website. This includes your contact details and message when you write to us; your work email, company, and any files you upload when you use SimpliQuote; and your name, contact information, résumé, work history, and supporting materials when you apply for a role or fellowship.

Information we collect automatically. We collect information about how the Website is used, including the pages and content you view, clicks, taps, scrolls, pointer movement, video plays, forms you start or abandon, timestamps, referring and exit URLs, and campaign parameters. We also collect device and network information, including IP address, approximate location, browser and operating system, device type, screen characteristics, language, cookie and advertising identifiers, and diagnostic logs.

Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from analytics, advertising, and attribution partners, from our customer relationship management and sales tools, and from publicly available sources, and we may combine that information with what we collect on the Website.

We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies on the Website. Some are set by Simpli and some are set by partners acting on our behalf. They may last for a single session or persist across visits.

We use these technologies to:

• operate and secure the Website, including load balancing, fraud prevention, and remembering your preferences;
• measure traffic, usage, and performance;
• analyze which pages, elements, and paths visitors engage with, so that we can improve the Website and our programs;
• attribute visits to campaigns, advertisements, and referring sources;
• support sales outreach and remarketing, including displaying Simpli messages on other websites and services;
• diagnose and resolve technical issues.

You can control certain cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may limit some features. Where a partner provides its own opt-out mechanism, we will link to it where required. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, which are not applied uniformly across the industry.

We use the information described above to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Website;
• respond to inquiries and route them to the appropriate team;
• prepare and follow up on SimpliQuote requests;
• evaluate applications for roles and fellowships;
• analyze usage, test design changes, and measure marketing campaigns;
• personalize content and outreach;
• detect abuse and protect Simpli, our clients, and certified organizations;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
• carry out any other purpose disclosed at the point of collection or to which you consent, including the license described in Section 05.

We may de-identify or aggregate information and use it for any purpose.

We may share information collected through the Website with:

• service providers that host, analyze, communicate, advertise, attribute, store files, parse documents, process applications, or otherwise support the Website and our business;
• our professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where appropriate;
• a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets;
• government authorities or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or necessary to enforce our Terms & Conditions;
• other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers and usage data with analytics and advertising partners in ways that certain privacy laws define as a “sale” or “share” of personal information. You may opt out of that sharing as described in Section 08.

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including the license described in Section 05, and to meet our legal, accounting, and security obligations. Usage and cookie data may be retained for shorter operational periods, or for longer periods in aggregated form. Quote files and application materials may be retained indefinitely under the license you grant.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to appeal a decision we make about such a request, or to opt out of certain sharing for advertising purposes. To make a request, email legal@simpli.supply. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may decline a request to the extent permitted by law — for example, where the information is exempt, where deletion would prevent us from exercising the license granted over non-personal materials, or where we are unable to verify the request.

Where we process personal information on the basis of consent, you may withdraw that consent on a going-forward basis. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out or processing that rests on another lawful basis.

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information collected through the Website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email legal@simpli.supply and we will delete it.

Simpli is based in the United States. If you visit the Website from another country, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have data-protection rules different from those of your country. By using the Website, you consent to that transfer.

We may update this Policy at any time. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when we do. Your continued use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
