Information You Provide
The information we collect depends on how you interact with our Services.
Website visitors (usesimpli.com and searchcharities.org): We may collect information you provide when you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a contact form, apply for a job, or request access to credentialed areas of our website, including your name, email address, phone number, resume or application materials, and any other information you choose to submit.
Registered Platform users (charity organizations and clients): When you register for an account on the Platform, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization name, organization address, tax identification numbers (including EIN), and other account registration information. In the course of using the Platform, we may also collect IRS determination letters, Form 990 filings, signed tax forms (including IRS Forms 8283 and 8282), donation acknowledgment letters, records related to the receipt and distribution of donated goods, photographs and descriptions of charitable activities, and any other information you provide or that is generated through your use of the Platform.
SimpliServe end recipients: When you scan into an event or create an account on SimpliServe, we may collect your name, phone number, contact information, demographic information (such as household size), and any other information you provide.
Payment information: If you make a payment through our Services, your payment is processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe and JPMorgan Chase. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. These payment processors collect and process your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
